• Just by living in a rodent invested area one can become infected by Hantavirus, which is found in the feces, urine, and saliva of infected rodents.
Helpful Tips:
• Store food (including pet food) in rodent proof containers.
• Keep all trees and shrubs trimmed away from the home.
• Eliminate clutter.
• Seal the more common areas such as AC line access, utility hookups, gable and eave vents, rotted facia and siding, J-trim, and properly sealed doors.
